Instructor Biography
Johnny Knight
Johnny Knight works professionally as a portraitist and performing arts photographer. He specializes in theatrical production photos and actors' headshots. Johnny is a graduate of the University of North Carolina with degrees in Communications Studies and English. He has also worked as an actor, film director and playwright, and he loves telling stories with a camera.
Johnny has been teaching lighting classes at the Chicago Photography Center (CPC) since 2003. He is extremely grateful for all of the opportunities that life has offered him, including the opportunity to teach at the CPC. He loves learning from his students' experiences; he works to become a better teacher with each new class session. He lives in Chicago with his wife and daughter.
