This workshop covers the basics of Polaroid transfer techniques, starting with the wet transfer to achieve an artistic effect. You'll also learn about emulsion transfers onto a variety of different media, including handmade paper, canvas and wood.
You’ll make at least one transfer of each type using your own properly exposed slides or experimenting with slides that we have available. Your slides will not be damaged or altered in the process. We’ll also discuss options for the presentation of your finished piece. Bring your imagination…the possibilities are endless!
Items to bring:
- 5 properly exposed slides (hopefully ones that you like!). We'll have slides to use if you do not have any yet.
