Film Photo II further explores the subtleties of correct exposure and introduces filters. For this class, your camera must be a 35mm SLR (single lens reflex).
You’ll learn advanced darkroom techniques that will lead to quality finished prints and you’ll enhance your ability to view photography with more experienced, thoughtful eye. There is a three part lighting assignment that introduces students the different qualities of light in the world around us. Photo II may also include guest lectures in addition to the regular curriculum.
This class also includes a weekly darkroom beginning the first week of class, so students should be prepared to attend CPC twice each week. Students will use multi-grade contrast filters by Ilford, which should be purchased prior to the first class.
